Screen flicker

Post by Cuzmarc » Thu Jul 27, 2006 9:50 pm

I am experiencing screen flicker in game when i switch my resolution to do split screen. Any idea's? This only happens on one of my pc's that recently was upgraded to the new 7950gx2 video card. It has the latest drivers from nvidia and the updated Directx.

Also is it possible to make it so the Wineq profiles remembers the resolution on exit this would solve my problem as well because it only happens once i change the resolution.

The resolution actually gets stored in eqclient.ini and should certainly be loaded again properly upon launching EQ again. There might be a bug with EQ launching in full screen mode vs windowed. Right now you appear to be launching it in Full screen; try setting EQ itself to windowed, and see if that fixes the resolution storing problem.
