wineq2 problems with EQ 1

On 1 computer it takes forever to patch and on the other it just patchs and stops.


I read in another post some people were having similar problem but never seen a fix other then reinstalling over old one.

Is this a new installation or an old one? Assuming it's an old one, you may indeed need to install WinEQ 2 over itself to freshen the Lavish.dll, or it might just fail to patch -- that is the fix.
