Thanks for the quick reply Lax , the turning patch on / off seemed to work partially. Now it seems I get a message saying EQ play nice was no able at phase 2 , thought .. well ill turn it off.. still same message. Thanks again. Didnt know EQ wasnt using my Audigy card hehe, noticed it on the system info listed below.

EQ (as well as Windows) may be using your Audigy, but the Realtek AC97 Audio that is built into your motherboard seems to be the primary audio device. You can turn off the onboard audio through BIOS if you have the know-how, and then it will no longer have any effect on your system. I would recommend that if you can do it.

Is this the message you are receiving?
"EQPlayNice was unable to initialize at this time at phase 2. Your system received an unexpected response from the server. Please try again."

Based on that, there should be a file in the Windows folder called Lavish-15.txt. You can open it by going to the start menu and under Run, paste this:
C:\Windows\Lavish-15.txt
Send the contents of that to me in a private message or email to lax@lavishsoft.com
