System Performance Reduced Drastically

After what appears to have been the last patch, I can no longer use WinEQ due to the fact the system performance is reduced to almost nothing upon launching WinEQ. For example, the mouse willl barely move across the box to select "Agree" at the EULA. When running EverQuest without WinEQ, my system doesn't even blink once and runs perfectly. This occurs whether I am running one client or three clients and does it for each client in different directories. Any quick tips?

Looks pretty normal. Try forcing hardware vertex processing (I wouldnt normally suggest that, but your log shows mixed and i think the 9800 can use full hardware). You can also try turning ON the Vertex Shaders option. Turning it off should actually be worse performance and they may have fixed some problems with it in the latest patch.

Are you using dual monitors by any chance? I see the log says you arent, but you never know...

I am not currently using dual monitors and have not used another in the past. I enabled the vertex shaders as you suggested but no such luck. I also do not have any background processes running that were not present prior to the performance loss. I appreciate your extremely fast response and helpfulness with the matter Lax.

I used to get the same effect when first setting up WinEQ as the resolutions were too much, once I got in game and set them smaller it fixed it (eg starts up on 1280x1024 but change to 800x600).
