Crashing while dual sessioning with OOW

I crash shortly after loading (Blue screen/memory dump) my second session if either chracter is in an OoW Zone.
I have an Abit Siluro 5200 FX card, using Forceview drivers.

Open up eqclient.ini and set all 3 of these options to TRUE, and see if that changes anything. Trying to rule things out :)

I made the changes above , the 1.0 and 2.0 pixel settings are shown "ON" when in game and the settings remain set to " true " in eqclinet.ini as long as i don't make any changes to the advanced options other than adjust the actor's clip plane. Since I run EQ off 2 separate hard drives I did one other thing though. On the " UI < Character name here > files , I copied from one hard drive to the other. Anytime I make a change in settings, window size , etc on one folder I copy it to the other EQ folder. I have not had a crash in the last few days since doing this.

I wasn't sure where to put this as I didnt want to start another thread.

Setting Pixel and Vertex Shaders TRUE now appears to stop me from crashing when using 2 accounts on my single machine with NVIDIA card when using WINEQ. However, EQ Windows has been running 2 accounts quite happily for me with those settings OFF.

All I can tell you is the vertex shaders problem happens whether you use normal EQ, EQWindows, or WinEQ. Some versions of EQWindows force software vertex processing, which means those versions are immune although you can assume that software is slower than hardware.

i have this same problem, i changed my settings in my ini file, and it fixed it... for an hour or two, now i'm crashing repeatedly again

/sigh there's like 10 "fixes" for this problem, but they all only work for an hour here and there, it's strange as hell.

Locking this thread, please post your issues on a new thread and supply WinEQ.log.

If you are experiencing the REBOOT/BSOD issue you need to make sure vertex shaders are enabled on all EQ sessions. There is a separate issue if you run completely out of memory. In order to help you with your specific issue with WinEQ 1.38, I need your WinEQ.log. I really cant do much for you otherwise
