NSIS Error

Post by Niteclawz » Thu Sep 09, 2004 7:46 pm

Just downloaded version 1.35 and i keep getting :

The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
This could be a result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.

It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch ( Not recoomended )

I have uninstalled and re-installed 3 times and still getting message :(
What? Me tank that?

You may need to clear your browser's cache and re-download the file. In Internet Explorer to do this you go to Tools->Internet Options, then click "Delete Files" under "Temporary Internet Files". Check the "Delete all offline content" when the next box pops up, and hit OK. Then try downloading again. If that fails again, you may need to go through a separate proxy, as your proxy or your ISP's proxy maybe interfering with a proper download.

You can always try going to http://www.proxyweb.net and navigating to the download through their proxy service
