invisible models / missing textures?

i just installed winEQ and EQplaynice, and when i try to load it up, when i get in-game, all NPC/PC models are like 90% invisble, and many ground/wall textures will be see-through (like flickery, sort of like when you sit while facing a wall and you're right up against it)

i tried changing the video settings, and tried all the different screen modes, nothing changed

my client doesn't crash or anything either, i can zone just fine, but i just can't really see anything.. characters are even invisible in the character creation screen.

Need information about your system. Video card is especially important. I'm working on an update right now that will improve things for owners of low end/value cards. For anything to change, you would have to log out, go into the options from the first menu, and set Textures to LOW, and turn off all models.

sorry, system is a thunderbird 1ghz, with an old gf2 gts 64mb vid card, and 512mb ram (i know it sucks ;))


if i use eqw+eqplaynice, things work fine, so apparently it's something in wineq that's making it unhappy

Same bug here for me. WinEQ worked great till V1.10.

AMD Athlon XP 2000+
512MB, Geforce 4 MX440

At least EQW still works, so I'm a happy 2-boxer anyway...

You'll be happy with 1.15 I think :)

I've been testing with a GeForce 2 MX200 32MB and do not have remaining issues like these. I expect to release 1.15 today.

i am running a intel 3.0 ghz processor(800mhz fsb) with 2 gbs of memory at ddr400(pc 3200) and a radeon 9800 pro and i am having no problems, so thank you!
