Aside from the login process, I believe I've found the reason the "Lite" users are having trouble seeing that EQPlayNice is indeed working. The default EQPlayNice.ini sets the background framerate at at 30fps. This is perfect for Pro users, but Lite users may see a limited effect. You may wish to edit the .ini and set BackgroundMaxFPS to 25 or 20.
