EQPN autoupdate?

You do not need to re-download EQPlayNice each patch. When you load it, it will try to work. If it hasn't been updated for the patch yet, you will be notified that it will not work. Try it again later and it will just plain work if the Lavish Software server has been updated!

How exactly does the autoupdate feature work? Just wondering because EQPN wouldn't work until I went to the website and redownloaded it today. Or is the "server update" different from having the new version available for download?

As mentioned in various posts, the part of EQPN that detects the EQ version broke on the latest EQ patch. This required updating EQPN. Normally, patches do not require updating EQPN.

Ok, cool. I didn't see the other messages. This is the first time I've tried to "use" the autoupdate feature (a.k.a. not doing anything), and it didn't work.
