It's not crashing me back to desktop, which is good... but EQ is still chomping up 90-99% of my processors power when I'm not using it. =(
SoE really fucked up eqgame.exe with these last two patches, =/.

You may need to lower the BackgroundMaxFPS setting to 20, check EQPlayNice.ini

Okay, that worked correctly then. You may need to drop it down to 10-15. What speed is your processor if I may ask?

AMD Athelon 1.2 Ghz.
I dropped it to 15 and it was cut down to 70%, dropped it to 10 and it's now at 50%. Much better, thanks =).

No problem, I will keep this information in mind for future updates. The average is something like an athlon XP 1600+, which does great at 20 max background fps with an average video card.
