Innerspace with Bootcamped iMac Issues

Post by achilles717 » Sun Nov 03, 2013 5:12 pm

Hey there.

I have an iMac with a 2.5 ghz i5 quad core with 8 gb of ram that i have bootcamped with Windows 7 and run EQ on. When i try to load 3 characters up on Everquest 1, my FPS drops to 30ish, which is unplayable for me. Innerspace seems to work fine on a true PC. I was wondering if anyone is using Innerspace on a Bootcamped iMac and if they have the same issues, and most importantly, if anyone has any advice to try to get my FPS >45. I have taken off the FPS limiter, and also tried to set it to 60 with no avail.

Thank you

EQ has a built-in FPS limiter as well. If you're using any other EQ1-specific software, that might too ;)

Otherwise this is actually a better topic for isboxer.com, assuming you're using ISBoxer? This basically covers it, and if you need more help see the "identifying bottlenecks" section for what additional information you should provide: HOWTO: Tweak your framerate
