InnerSpace crashes whenever I try to run it...

Post by weldorr » Thu Aug 15, 2013 2:43 pm

All I get is the little loading window that says

InnerSpace.dat
100%

then

LavishPatcher.exe
100%

then it freezes/stops responding and after a minute or so just closes.

Do you have User Account Control (UAC) "disabled"? Or more accurately, set to "Never notify"? When it's set to "Never notify" and you run a program like Inner Space that requires Administrator permissions, the program is unable to request those permissions and may just not work correctly; that may be what's happening here.

So, try right clicking the Inner Space icon on your desktop and select Run as Administrator?

Sorry for the double post but I can't see an edit post button anywhere =/

But yeah I changed it to "always notify" and restarted my pc. Tried to run it then and the same thing happened. Tried to "run as admin" and the same thing happened still.
