WOW in 64 since patch 5.0.4 support with innerspace ?

Post by papydba » Thu Aug 30, 2012 12:24 pm

Since yesterday, we have a official new version of wow, and it works in 64bit.

Does Innerspace support wow 64 bit ?. I try to load it with the 64 bit version of wow, When i set IS to use the 64 bit ver I get the below error.

Failed to execute "C:/world of Warcraft/Wow-64 bit.exe " . Innerspace Launcher Error Code -19 (it will help to report Inner Space Launcher Error Code -19 if reporting this issue.

Can you help me ?

64-bit WoW client has actually been around for at least 6 months.

No, Inner Space cannot currently operate on a 64-bit process. You must use the 32-bit WoW client with Inner Space

Are there any plans to have Innerspace work with a x64 client in WoW or would that be alot of work (complete re-write kinda deal)?

It's a lot of work to retarget Inner Space to 64-bit. Long term, there will be 64-bit support, likely in Inner Space 2 as opposed to Inner Space 1.

Related discussion from February, when the 64-bit client came out: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1979

(Many people are just now learning about the 64-bit client due to the new option/default in the Launcher)

Didn't think to look for 64-bit info in ISBoxer and I had forgotten you were working on IS2 (Been awhile since I used IS for boxing EQ and just recently got a 2nd account on WoW)
