Inner Space crashes when launching character set or just the

Post by savatage72 » Fri Mar 09, 2012 10:50 pm

I had IS setup and working about a month ago for swtor. But since the game ran slow boxing on one system, I decide to put it to the side until i got around to adding more ram.

The isboxer suite has been uninstalled and reinstalled and it still crashes. Doesnt matter if I launched inner space separately, to try and set it up for the game. Or if I launch it from the character set. The report is linked below

Code: Select all

Crash: 0x73663C98: Exception 0xc0000005 reading from address 0x0F000013 in module dlumd32.dll
This crash is apparently caused by dlumd32.dll, which is a DisplayLink user-mode driver.

If that is something that you can disable while you multibox, you can avoid this crash.

Alternatively, I would probably start by looking for driver updates for your DisplayLink device, and updating your ATI drivers could potentially help as well

hmm, ill try and see if i can find updated drivers for it first...the display link is for the 3rd monitor for when i play a game using eyefinity. Its been hooked up though even when i initially tried isboxer...but i did recently update ati's control center and video drivers...and added some software t ooverclock the video cards and the system in general.

ill uninstall everything real quick and try again.

Thank you Lax,
Went into programs and features and saw the software for displaylink...then it dawned on me what it was. At one time i must of hooked up the usb display adapter to a 4th monitor for some reason.

Uninstalled the software, rebooted and IS booted up perfectly fine. Many thanks for the assist, I appreciate it.
