Eve Crashes with runtime error

When I attempt to run Eve through IS I get...

Runtime Error!

I am using linux, and have tried versions of wine that reportly worked in previous version. But those didn't do anything. I can launch Warcraft 3 and WoW fine through IS. From what I got from searching here it is a launcher issue. Anything I can do to fix this, wouldn't mind buying this once it works.[/quote]

Did you try the development build of IS? Right click IS, select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then restart IS and let it patch. The development build fixes a lot of things related to your problem, so I think there's a good chance it'll work

The current developement version now doesn't even let me launch any games through inner space

so anything else I can do for this to run properly via wine? Wouldn't mind taking full advantage of this on my desktop.
