The only known reason for this particular error is some setting in Symantec Endpoint. You may need to disable it to run Inner Space, unfortunately. There is a service that it runs that apparently causes this issue -- I am not sure the name of the service, but people try uninstalling Endpoint and then it still does the same error until they turn off the service (which you'd think would get uninstalled, but apparently not!). So you might be able to just turn off the service, whatever it is

Anyone find out what service from Endpoint is causing this to occur? I've tried to disable Endpoint and stopped all of the services but it still errors out on me. I've also opened up Innerspace in the Firewall Rules on Endpoint and still no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

This error also comes up if you use COMODO AV as well. It seems the service cmdAgent (COMODO Internet Security Helper Service) is the cause here. I went through all the settings and set exclusions for Inner Space but it seems the only way to solve the issue is to uninstall the whole program, the service won't allowing stopping or restarting. This is too bad because unlike Symantec Endpoint this AV program doesn't suck and it's free.
This problem was recently solved. If you get launcher error code -10, switch to the development build of Inner Space. To do so, right click the IS icon in the system tray, select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches", then close and restart Inner Space. Once it patches up there is no more launcher error code -10. Enjoy
