EQ2 keyboard/mouse input bug while minimized

Post by benrangel » Mon Oct 01, 2007 12:20 pm

Any progress on fixing this bug, Lax?

Would be real handy to be able to minimize our windows
while running some of the scripts available.

Thanks,

You need to set the lock foreground option and then it works.

Hmm, I have the Lock Foreground ticked but when I minimize
my scripts stops. Like eq2harvest, when I minimize and then maximize,
it starts the 'stuck' routine. Its not been moving at all while
minimized. Anything else I can try?

Cheers!

Sure, try not minimizing it. It's not a bug in Inner Space, but rather a feature you would have to request from Amadeus. You can hide the window without minimizing it, though.

Enter the command "windowtaskbar on" (the name of the command is a misnomer), and the window will then be represented by an icon in what is referred to as the system tray (Microsoft says that's not what it's called). If you then minimize the window, it will be hidden instead of minimized.

*grovels shamelessly at Lax's feet*

I works! Now I can bot at work. ROFL.
Just out of curiosity, is this function documented somewhere?
I have scoured the wiki and the boards for over a year...

Cheers!
