Let me describe the behavior.
I launch 3 sessions of eq2. I close 2 sessions and launch 2 more.
My running sessions will be is3 is4 is5. But in task manager I will have 5 everquest2.exe's running.
When the game exit's for some reason innerspace isn't releasing the client exe. I've also noticed that if I had any extensions loaded, they are still running in these ghost processes.
I get the ghosts whether I start extensions in those sessions or not.
This behavior has been observed by nearly all IS/EQ2 users for over 3 months now.
I'm just prodding for a fix. We keep manually cleaning up after the sessions, and that is working fine, but we have some support issues with new users not understanding why they can't patch successfully (cause there are ghost processes locking the exe).
Ghost processes using multiple IS sessions with EQ2.
