Questions regarding Innerspace and WinEQ2

I've been using (and very much liking) WinEQ2, and have started playing around with InnerSpace.

It appears to me that IS and WinEQ cannot run together, as clients must be launched directly from IS, or WinEQ sessions must be launched from thier shortcuts. I've looked around in the configurations for both of them, and don't see any settings that pop out as being able to use both at once.

Am I correct in the assumption that WinEQ and IS don't work together?

To go along with that, I noted on the MQ boards in a thread (link) that there should be no issues with MQ and IS running together - is this still correct?
