How do i see if an IS session is running?

Post by milamber » Sat Jul 23, 2005 7:30 pm

Just started up with IS - downloaded isxeq2 extension.
Started eq2 through the menu in IS default profile and it loads eq2. I also created a autoexec.ice file with: bind console § "console toggle" in it.

Pushing the § button doesnt open up any console though - how do I even know if IS is running as it should?

You should see annoying FPS and memory indicators in the upper left corner :)

Hmm none of that :(
Im using the default install of IS nothing else.. even removed the eq2.ini to check if there was any kind of conflict (not that there should be though)

Not at all. Just install IS, launch the game through the IS menu, and it should work.

uninstalled IS, removed lavish software entries from registry.
downloaded new file, installed, made an autoexec.ice file with:
bind console § "console toggle"

nothing shows up when starting eq2 with the IS menu.. trying to active console.. nothing. I bring up the IS console and it says:
Uplink with inner space tray established
Session name 'EverQuest IIF020E' accepted
[console] [§] Command (Release): console toggle

SOLVED

Went into add games and added a new game instead.
named it eq2spec
and used the everquest2.exe file that is found at the exact spot for default everquest II folder (same as in the preset in IS) and tadaaa now i see the "annoying" fps hehe...
