Problem running IS

Post by Zallman » Sat Jan 01, 2005 9:01 am

Everytime I try to start Inner Space I get the following error:

InnerSpace was unable to initialize at this time (-22). Please try again later..

What gives?

What version are you trying to run? Is this from a clean download?

You also need to make sure the software is logging you in as Zallman rather than a non-subscriber. Non-subscribers will always get the -22 error.

it is the beta release from the link provided in these forums.

I run the install, it goes smoothly. It never asks to specify an account name/password.

I run the icon and it comes up with the error.

I feel kind of silly but I don't find what im missing in the manuel, etc.

It doesn't ask for a username or password because you have it set to auto-login from using a previous program. Load up WinEQ or EQPlayNice and use the Pre-Authenticate or Lavish Login options, or delete the Lavish Software registry key found in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES\SOFTWARE\Lavish Software

aha!
I'll try that, that makes sense. Haven't played eq in months BUT I bet that I have old copies of WinEQ or Playnice lingering there!

Thanks..
