error with patch

Post by Tehthu » Mon Apr 11, 2005 11:07 pm

I keep getting this error everytime I launch WoW with IS, just wondering if its happening to anyone else. It just started tonight after the IS login server came back up and it patched itself.

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084)
Program: c:\program files\world of warcraft\wow.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:4FE53BAF

The instruction at "0x4FE53BAF" referenced memory at "0x6946207D".
The memory could not be "written".

Tried reinstalling and everything =\ Runs fine without IS, so im not sure if its me, a bug, or whatever... any ideas?

Thanks

im just glad its not only me.. been going crazy trying to figure out whats causing it.

Was the patch tonight, or did I just leave IS running in my tray for too long without restarting it? ;P

Hello

I just downloaded and installed IS. When I try and use it to open wow I crash with this error:

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084)
Program: C:\World of Warcraft\wow.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:0553261C

The instruction at "0x0553261C" referenced memory at "0x00000000".
The memory could not be "read".

Is this the same error the above posters are having?

Thanks

All set folks, restart IS and you're all set. Sorry about that!
