Hi all, I've solved the windows xp problem by using windows 7 for now. Another issue now is that after the recent forced patch, I am getting error code -16 when I try to start everquest 2 extended.
It's working perfectly outside IS, but I can't even get it to load. There's nothing in the console, just a message box telling me about error -16.
Is there any more information about this error somewhere?
Thanks

I assume it says *Launcher* Error -16. If that's not what it says, then I'm about to ask a question unrelated to your issue and you should tell me more specifically what the box says.
Do you have some sort of security software installed that might be preventing Inner Space from accessing the process it launched? Because it's unable to access the process it launched, and this is not normal (or default) behavior, and would typically either require other software to be involved, or possibly some strict system policies (like those that might be used to restrict corporate PCs).

Thanks for the reply. It's a totally stock Windows 7 machine, the only thing installed is IS and EQ2x.
I haven't changed any of the config since it was working, the only thing changed was to update EQ2x and copy over the exe as before.
I'm not in front of it right now but I'll copy the exact error over here soon.
Thanks
