Hello. Today I bought innerspace. I downloaded, and opened the file. It loaded a bunch of files, then I got the error:
Innerspace requires the March 2008 (or later) update to DirectX 9 to be installed on your system. This is different than DirectX 10, and does not mean DirectX 9.0c from 2004. Click ok if you'd like to be taken to the download page, or cancel if you don't.
I clicked the link, and downloaded "dxwebsetup.exe". I accepted the agreement, but before anything installed I got the error "an internal system error as occurred. please refer to DXError.log in your windows folder to determine problem. When I opened the log, it said
CDXWSetup::InitInstallEngine() failed.
So, Lavish forums, can you help me?

If dxwebsetup doesn't work for you, you can download the full directx update package here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
When you run it, it will extract an installer to the folder of your choice. You will need to go into that folder and run the setup program to complete the install.
The dxwebsetup is preferable because it will detect and download only the updates you don't have; the download above is a bigger download because it includes all of the updates
