Aion troubles

Post by Gorthu » Thu Oct 15, 2009 11:06 am

This is what I know so far (and so you know I do have some understanding of IS and ISBoxer - I do have it running on SWG and Lotro).

I can launch Aion from IS. To do this, I have the "Exit Game After Launch" option selected in the NCSoft Launcher - (Files - Settings - After Launching GAme). Be sure to have the option that allows multiiple instances of games checked also (Files - Settings - Advanced). You can only have two instances running on one computer. This is an NCSoft limitation.

Problems I am encountering: 1) It takes almost 90 seconds to get logged into this game. The launch of the second instance fails if the game isn't logged in. I guess the work around to this is "relaunching" from IS. 2) The next problem I encounter is that the Instance isn't being assigned to a region. Don't know what's happening here. 3) and this may be related to #2, no keys being passed to other instances.

Any suggestions as to what I should try?

Inner Space is not yet compatible with Aion. Aion support is currently in beta testing and not available to the general public. I expect it to be available soon.

I have three accounts I personally own on Aion and currently it won't let me load more than two at same time. I'd love to beta it :D

Hey, can you guys give me a brief note on your configurations? I try running through the c:\programs\ncsoft\launcher\launcer.exe settings but the actual launch is stored on my d: drive. If I launch using d:\games\aion\launcher.exe I get a wrong username\password error.
Maybe I missed it, but is there a link somewhere
that shows how to setup Aion?
Thanx
