Rollover triggering when not over

Post by gus » Tue Aug 04, 2009 6:12 pm

This has happened a dozen or so times over the last few days for me... in EQ1 (yes got back into, had a craving after being away for years), got a main window, 2 smaller ones on the side, with rollover zoom configured. Sometimes for now good reason, when I'm working in the main, one of the rollovers decides to zoom all the way out. It seems to happen when I'm near where "left" border" of the where the rollover would be if fully zoomed and when I'm using the mouse buttons at the same time.

I'm usually in the middle of something when it happens, and immediately switch my way out of it by moving the mouse over to the visible part of my main window, and clicking (rollover shrinks).

Sorry, this is vague, I'll see if I can narrow down the circumstances in which it occurs better.

and when I'm using the mouse buttons at the same time.
Would it be accurate to say that the cursor isn't visible at the time you're having this issue? It sounds like it'd be related to mouselook

Yup, that'd be it exactly. I can replicate it most easily by starting a mouse look near the right edge of my main windows and turning to the right. Sometimes when I release the buttons the rollover happens. That that point I noticed the mouse cursor appear for a split second over those windows sometimes, then disappear and reappear where one would expect (where I originally started the look). I don't get rollover every time I see the cursor flash, but it's most definitely related.
