Good morning,
I set up 3 sessions of EQ1.
I used it last night for my first long game session.. about 5 hours.
It raised a few questions.
My machine is an AMD duo core and the second core ran at a steady 77% while the first core fluctuated up and down but averaged about 30% CPU. It ran very smoothly but the load seemed heavy on one core. This had my fans cranking up to keep it cool.
I also noticed that in the picture and picture windows, the activity of the background sessions seemed higher than what I am accustomed to when using WinEQ2 pro for two sessions.
I have not tried using mapped keys. I have 2 characters parked in the background as support for the character I am working with. I switch to them for occasional heals and buffs but 2 of the 3 characters are largely inactive.
So... Can I distribute load more evenly?
I see where I can assign sessions to cores.
I'm wondering if I need to install EQplaynice.
Inner Space and EQ1 configuuration questions

That works so good... really works smooth. Down to 40% cpu, cool and idling. Far more responsive than it was... it's like.. normal.
That pip flicker? no big deal at all.. got used to that years ago in wineq2.
I don't need to see the expressions on my toons faces in the pip windows.. I shrink them down anyway to 192x240. I just want to see that they're standing and not swarmed with mobs.
This is a complicated arrangement.. configure ISBoxer then export to Inner Space then start WinEQ2 pro and Inner Space.
But it works very very well
It's just what the duo core folks need.
