Odd. Okay, I will have to do some more testing to find out what is happening differently.

Okay folks, I spent many hours getting this right tonight, and threw in some goodies by fixing some other EQ1 issues while I was at it. This should absolutely be solved now. Please continue to report any problems.

So far, looks good, Lax. Only using 2 accounts with the boxer, so not sure if more might show the problem or not, but since its not doing it on two, I'm going to assume 3+ wont be affected either. Good Job as always.

Only problem Im having now is that on one screen, things get bunched up, specially in the chat box area. It's not every line, maybe 3 in the setup I have. Top of the chat box, bottom of the chat box, and one in the middle. The other screen, as usual, works perfectly fine. Didnt have the problem before the last "fix" so not sure if you'd like a new thread on it or not.

This thread is fine. I will look into the issue (sounds like a distortion issue which would be detailed when you enter "displayinfo" in the in-game IS console)

okies, this is what it shows...

Adaptor Resolution: 1680x1050
Current Display Mode 1680x1022 (Windowed)
Window Viewable Size: 1670x1010
Display Scale 99.4%x98.8%, Distortion: 0.6%

on the one that doesnt have a problem, it reads

Adaptor Resolution: 1680x1050
Current Display Mode 1682x1010 (Windowed)
Window Viewable Size: 1682x1010
Display Scale 100.0%x100.0%, Distortion: 0.0%

Since they are supposed to be the same size, what would I need to do to fix this. If Im not using ISBoxer, I dont have the problem.

Nothing, it is an Inner Space issue and I will be working on it shortly

I can't use it at all now...

I rebooted and now I'm getting 'ResetDevice failed!' and EQ closes when I hit OK. Didn't change anything other than downloading the patches for ISboxer and IS.

I went back in and enabled 'Prevent game from repositioning windows' and 'Make game believe it is foreground window' and I got past that error.

Weird because before the patch, those options gave me issues and I ended up turning them off. Btw, what exactly does the second option do for me?

Making the game believe it is the foreground window allows you to send keystrokes to the other windows. Without it, the game will ignore them. Unless, that is, they recently changed that in a patch in order to facilitate multi-boxing, in which case I could remove the EQ1 recommendation from that option.

It was working without that option enabled a couple days ago.

Okay.. eolewis and weirdguy508.

I am trying as hard as I can for the last hour or two, to reproduce either of these issues (mouse issue and distortion issue). And, it's not happening.

So one of two things.

1. I assume that both of you are on Inner Space build 4953, is that correct? Secondly, did you get the ISBoxer 30 Minor Update 2, and re-export your settings? If not, restart ISBoxer.
or
2. I need to know how to make my setup do the same thing as your setup, so that I can find out why it's happening and solve the problem. That means that if you have gone into the IS configuration and checked the "Force Windowed" option (if you dont know where it is, then you probably didnt check it and the answer would therefore be "no"), I need to know that first of all. Then I will need your ISBoxer configuration (not just the window layout at this point) in order to track this down. You can copy it to clipboard from inside ISBoxer -- right click on ISBoxer at the top and select Copy to Clipboard, then you can paste it here.

Any information you can provide as far as when it starts happening, when/if it stops happening, and so on, will help. If it starts at the login screen that'd be helpful to know. If it starts after you select a server (or "at character select"), that'd be helpful to know. If it starts after you enter the world, that'd be helpful to know. If it starts after you zone, that'd be helpful to know. If it only happens SOMETIMES, that'd be helpful to know. If you are switching the game to full screen mode, that'd be helpful to know. If you are manually changing the size of the game window, that'd be helpful to know.

okies, When I first reported this, I was using build 4953 and I thought I had opened isboxer this morning. I just opened isboxer again and now there is a minor update to it. I'll check it out as soon as my group is done in an hour. As a side note, without the isboxer minor update, I noticed the mouse pointer was off just a little, but was coughing it up to the distortion I was receiving. Will keep you updated in about an hour.
