Video Capture Question

Alright, I only use Inner Space right now, since I have no real need for WinEQ or it's variations anymore. However I wanted to capture some video in EQ2 and was noticing the configuration settings for video capture under the inner space configuration settings and wasn't able to determine it's proper use.

My question is, can Inner Space capture video on it's own, or do I need to have WinEQ2 pro running in order to take advantage of that and the Inner Space configuration is just a means to fine tune the capture settings?

Tried looking in the wiki and did a search on the forums, but nothing conclusive. Just info on the WinEQ2 video capture. Thanks for any help you can give.

Inner Space video capture is kind of in disrepair. I would probably use one of the free solutions available on the net at the moment -- try CamStudio from http://camstudio.org/. It is free and open source. I've used it a few times myself.

Sounds good, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts there, Lax. Was hoping I could avoid more software, but at your suggestion I'll give them a try. At this point my video capture is for more personal entertainment anyway. Thanks again man and keep up the good work.
