LOTRO - Vista 64 - I cannot get IS to open LOTRO
When I open LOTRO with the IS icon in the tray, I don't get the console. It just opens up the program normally and when I try to use the ` key to open the console, it doesn't work. Any ideas?
Inner Space 1 unfortunately has trouble launching Lord of the Rings Online at this time on some computers, depending on the version of Windows in use. We do have a fix for this issue for Inner Space 2 (not yet out), but the fix has not yet been applied to Inner Space 1. If you cannot launch LOTRO with IS1 with your computer, and you purchased just for LOTRO, I can refund your payment -- you can use the Request a Refund form from the Support section of the web site.

Just to chime in, I gave this a go last night and was unable to get it functioning. I'm running Vista 64.
I have two directories setup for my clients. My main and an alt-lotro both setup in my C:/Users/<user> area. I first attempted to install IS there which resulted in normal game boot up, and a blank IS console. I then removed IS and installed it in the program files directory which resulted in the same outcome.
I attempted to run the program as an Admin which did not change the effect. I followed the same process while using the loader and had no change.
I tested IS with SWG (only other game on my machine) and it worked properly on the first try running it from a user file (not in admin mode). However I did notice the mouse was acting odd, shaking intensely.
I know the amount of users who are looking for this config. are limited so I doubt I will find a setup that will allow me to run two clients on one machine and have them both accept commands. Unfortunately I put in for a refund, unless ofcourse someone has a working solution or another app. alternative that will allow both clients to remain locked to the foreground (there by accepting inputs for both clients.
