Inner Space Unable to Initialize (-14)

Yesterday everything was fine.

Today I'm getting:

"Inner Space was unable to initialize at this time (-14). Please try again later."

This happens when I right-click on the Inner Space icon in the system tray and select Vanguard.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

15 minutes later everything started again and I'm working fine.

I didn't change anything on my end. Is it a server problem? Vg or authenication for Inner Space?

Most likely none of those things. It could have easily been a network issue between you and the server that would have resolved itself in that time.
