IS and Windows XP 64

Post by hendar » Tue Jul 08, 2008 8:40 am

A FYI, since I saw nothing on the forums when I looked earlier:

I can confirm that IS works fine under Windows XP 64-bit w/8G.

Perhaps a bit pointless to add this, but I would have liked to know this before taking the plunge. Everything turned out fine though.

All of our software works with 32-bit and 64-bit flavors of all versions of Windows 2000 and later. I've now added notes to the download page to indicate this :)

The only problem that I have ever run into with XP64 was one of drivers. Vista64 would have the same issues. Vista64 ran fine on my new Dell laptop, but the darn thing only takes 4GigRam :(

Also XP64 does not support SLI :(
