Banwaves and Linux

Post by Anadrol » Mon Jun 09, 2008 6:19 pm

Hi all,

If you run WoW with Wine, does Warden have access to InnerSpace process ?

From what I know, a process launched with Wine doesn't know about other processes running, apart from the process that launched it (and as IS launches WoW, maybe Warden can see IS process and then read/detect it).

Can some WoW users that use Wine tell if they were banned on the May 20th and 27th banwaves ?

Thank you,
Kind regards.

Warden doesn't need to detect the Inner Space process. If they have a hole in the protection being used, there's plenty of things for them to detect inside the process.

Thanks for your quick answer,

To make things clear,
If there's a hole in the ISXwarden protection, they can detect plenty of things directly inside of WoW process, right ?
They don't have to even detect the IS process then.
