Anybody else having problems with DisableBackgroundRender?

Post by jojotheslug » Wed May 14, 2008 1:55 pm

Ever since I upgraded to to ISXWarden v2.4.2, DisableBackgroundRender does not work. I'm going to post this up on ISXWoW.net too, just an fyi.

That is a function of ISXWoW, not ISXWarden, and neither of those are are Lavish products. The right places to discuss them are ismods.com and isxwow.net

Just a follow up...

The only reason I mention it here is because the problem showed up after I installed ISXWarden 2.4.2. So, I could bring up a WoW session, I just couldn't really do much with it. So, this problem shows up without ISXWoW even being loaded.

Plus, when you turn off rendering using LUA, the exact same symptoms occur. So, it seems like something must have changed with WoW's rendering. So, maybe it's something more fundamental than ISXWoW? Which is why I mentioned it here.

Well, ISXWarden is not a Lavish product.

The catch is that InnerSpace will not let you load WoW without it. This makes it impossible to test IS and WoW without ISXWarden.

So with IS+ISXWarden+WoW loaded up, recreate your bug. Make a post on ismods with your setup and results.

It's not a bug in Inner Space or ISXWarden (which as eqjoe pointed out, is not a Lavish product, is not available for download at lavishsoft.com, is not marketed by or supported by lavishsoft.com, etc). The functionality for that is provided by ISXWoW. You can't recreate an ISXWoW bug without ISXWoW.
