Pirates of the Burning Sea issue

Post by Slistak » Sun Apr 27, 2008 4:12 am

anyone able to get innersapce working with PotBS?

I've added it to innersapce, it launches it fine, but mouseclicks and keys don't seem to go to PotBS once it's running.

Any ideas?

thanks.

Do you see the FPS and Memory stats in the upper left corner?

It could be that IS can't hook the input and video.

Do you know what type of protection this game uses?

yep, memory and fps appear, windows name gets changed to is1.

mouseovers light up, but clicks don't get sent to the ui. ie. mouseover login button, it lights up but clicking on it does nothing.

no idea if it has any protection.

I will look into the PotBS issue as soon as I am able to. If it doesn't work properly, your only recourse is to wait for me to test and fix the issue. If you purchased a subscription specifically intending to use IS for PotBS just let me know and I can refund you for now, and let you know when the issue has been resolved.

PotBS is an SOE game. So it probably has the same protections as EQ/SWG.

I'm using innerspace for eq2 as well and that's working fine. So don't think it's a protection issue.

Right, it wouldnt be a protection issue. It's an input system bug in IS that needs to be addressed
