Using IS from germany

Post by CybermK » Fri Apr 04, 2008 5:44 am

Hi,

I've read that you can only use IS on 5 IP's. But in germany (where I life), I become a new IP every 24hours through an automatic disconnect by my provider?

Is this a problem?

With kind regards,

Cyber

I don't know where you read something that says you can "you can only use IS on 5 IP's".
I'm certain what you are referring to is this:
Single accounts may be shared by up to 5 systems at the same physical location.
I have customers all around the world, many of whom are using dial-up and DSL and are in your same situation. The system is not based on IPs.

Have fun :)

Umm quick question, if the system is not based on IP how do you check if the 5 machines are on the same physical location? ^^

That was not in the scope of the question, and I'm not going to bother to answer.

Then let me rephrase it.

I run IS @home from germany, like you said - no problems there.

But i run it at work too, not at the same time tho :) so i basicly run it on 2 different machines within 24h but it's always me and not at the same time.

Is that a problem?

Just curious so i know if i'm doing something wrong...

No, a lot of customers travel, play at work, play at friends' houses, and so on. These activities are not prohibited. It's when you share your account with coworkers, friends, and so on.
