DirectX update

Innerspace hates me... just installed it, downloaded all the updates after a load of hassle, it told me i needed to update to directx 9c so i downloaded and installed that:



But whenever i try to run innerspace it still tells me i need to install the update, which i have afaik.

Any ideas?

Your confusion is due to Microsoft releasing updates to DirectX 9.0c every other month, and still calling it 9.0c. The message is not instructing you to download 9.0c, it is telling you to install the latest update to DirectX 9.0c, which is from November 2007. Inner Space is only requiring you have the April 2006 update. The message will only come up if d3dx9_30.dll is not in the Windows system directory (IS isn't specifically looking there, that's just the installation location, where it is installed by every DirectX 9 update since April 2006).

I've tried that as well



Can't even reinstall it because it says that.

I've tried installing the redist pack more than once but some how dont have the d3dx_30.dll I need

Right, it's in system32 but its not in the dxdiag file list.
