Crash when starting up WoW

Post by Highlord » Sun Jan 27, 2008 7:40 pm

When I launch WoW, I get this error:

Code: Select all

Software: Inner Space Session 1.09 (Sat Dec 08 14:39:30 2007)
Crash: 0x0400DFA3: Exception 0xc0000005 reading from address 0x6642B6E9 in module InnerSpace.dll

Registers:
-----------------------------------
eax=6642B6E9 ebx=00400000 ecx=6642B6E9 edx=00000000
edi=6642B6EA esi=02159218 ebp=00000000 esp=0022DD58
I can post it all here, but since it was so big, I figured I'd rather post it if it gets requested.

I've reinstalled Innerspace several times, tried to reboot, and it didn't work.
Did I just forget something really simple?

Btw, before WoW starts, a little CMD window appears, it just says "WoW.exe" in the title, and a blank window.

Why isn't it working?
(Running Windows XP if that matters)

Something installed on your system, whether you wanted it installed or not, is interfering with Inner Space's ability to initialize itself in the new process. Try shutting down all running programs to determine if one of them is the cause. If I had to guess, based on a crash report you had submitted, I would say it might be AlienGUIse. If that is the case, you'll need to disable it until I am able to fix the compatibility issue. Let me know

You Lax, seem to be a god...

Ya, I do got that, got bored of the normal boring Windows...

But.. How do you manage to get so much out of numbers and such?

Anyways, thanks allot Lax, for both great support, and great software!
