City of Heroes not responding in IS

Post by trancekat » Sun Jan 27, 2008 2:57 am

Hi all.
I just d/l'd innerspace so that I could lock 2 instances of City of Heroes to the foreground (to dual-box), but when I used innerspace to load the game, I can type in the name field, but I can not get it to change to the password fieild, or even click anything with the mouse.

Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

City of Heroes is an OpenGL game (if they added or switched to DirectX and I'm wrong, please let me know) and therefore not officially supported at this time. Keyboard and mouse issues are of course unrelated to OpenGL, but unfortunately because the game cannot be fully supported by Inner Space without OpenGL support, I cannot help you with this at this time.

I of course offer you a full refund if this is preventing you from using our software, and I apologize for not currently supporting CoH.

Thank you for the prompt response. I will call the COH support line to see if they are exclusively OpenGL, but they do list DirectX 9.0 in their list of requirements. Does that mean they are using or have the potential to use DirectX in lue of OpenGL?

Thanks again,
Alex

Hi Lax,
Again, thanks for your time and help. I got back a response from CoH and they are indeed an OpenGL game; I had erroneously assumed that since DirectX9 was required that they used it.

Though I am sure your software is excellent, I honestly had no other intention for it's use. I'd really appreciate the refund for it.

Thanks again,
Alex
