ya Im kinda wondering the same. My subscription is up in a week.
I would like input on this before I resubscribe. Tell me to screw off and get XP or fix the problem. Seriously say something. Or let me roll back to a vers that works.

Lax gone on holiday or something? It would be nice to hear some words on the win 2000 problem, at least roll back the development patch to one that actually works.

I apologize, I have been in Michigan since last weekend for family weddings, and I won't be back until the beginning of next week. Builds 4501 and 4505 are available, 4501 (development build, offered so that people who cant use 4505 can try it) should work without sound, and 4505 (live build) should work for most people.

Same here Lax, some of us win 2k folks are broken. neither rev works with audio disabled or not. Still would love a chance to download a previous version till you can get this sorted out. I really don't want to give Bill any cash by buying XP just to run inerspace.

CRASHING BIG TIME!

Post by MissLaLa » Sun Aug 12, 2007 6:03 pm

Hello All - I seemingly am having the same issue as the lot of you have had in the past ... the difference is that I am on a brand new system and installed Innerspace for the 1st time. I get past the updating and see the "PLAY" button....the option for choosing characters beneath it are greyed out. Once play is pressed the 'Intro Page' shows and then CRASH! with an error message:

Software: Inner Space Session 1.09 (Thu Aug 02 23:41:43 2007)
Crash: 0x0400BA02: Exception 0xc0000005 reading from address 0x00000004 in module InnerSpace.dll

I have sent emails about this to both Lax (no response) and Isxvg the latter of the two feel that this is definately a Innerspace issue....can someone advise?

Much appreciation - Cheers

sorry about the 2nd post here folks...just saw that Lax is afk (out of town) - can someone offer the link to where 4501 is? do I uninstall the 4505 totally then ... as well as the isxvg and start from scratch? Also, what audio should be disabled - My system audio or VG's audio?

Thanks - Cheers :P

You select download development patches and relaunch innerspace. Disable game audio. This did not help me but apperently helped a few.
If your running Windows 2000 it most likely wont help. We are still waiting on Lax to comment.

Let a man sit down for a few minutes eh? ;)

I got home last night, I'm now sitting at my PC and going to tackle this.

My problem is sorta different. I can load vanguard fine and it runs without any problems UNTIL I try to log out to switch toons. Vanguard then freezes before getting to the character select screen. Takes about 5 mins if I let it go on it's own, then crashes.

If I run VG without IS... it works fine without any problems.

Running win xp pro. No problems until latest patch.
