IS is not launching WoW

Post by WhiteDragon » Tue Jul 03, 2007 4:21 am

so im a BRAND NEW to IS and warden...i have been reading over the forms for hours in the last 2 days. i just got IS a few hours ago. i followed the install and setup of warden and wow from these 2 links.
http://www.isxwow.net/index.php/Install ... _ISXWarden
http://www.isxwow.net/index.php/Tutorials
but after this when i try to run WoW default profile wow does not launch.

now i go here in the configuration window. (and it is pointed to the correct drive letter and location on that drive that i have wow.exe.)

and then i click on Startup and this shows up.

and i enter the information as instructed in the tutorial. Then i click finish.

Then it goes back to this window.
Image

then i click on apply and this window still stays up.
Image

and then i right click on IS in system try and go to WoW and arrow over to wow default profile and click on it and the wow.exe doesn't launch. so i am thinking that i might have set up warden wrong.

so i tried going to startup on this screen of the configuration and set it all up in here and still wow.exe didn't launch.

and this is where i put warden.

and this is the warden that i downloaded and used.

I use a wow a server for the USA and I live in the USA. I hope that was the right warden to download. I can't think of any other information that you would need for this problem so if you need more info just post it and I will get it posted as soon as possible.

Haven't looked at your config but there is a current issue:

Basically WardenNet has shutdown WOW until the ban wave info can be parsed to figure out how it happened and protect against it.

Most likely that is the issue you are experiencing.

if that is the case then i have no problem with it because i don't want to get banned. and FYI when i did click on the profile to launch it it did start to run the exe. i have ydocs and it shows when an exe is being used and it shows up every time i try to run it then it just stops. so it very well might just be what u just stated

Yup, it will launch and then stop. ISXWarden can't check WardenNet until it is loaded, and ISXWarden only gets loaded in wow.exe

I think it's fantastic that such diligence is given to protecting the users of ISXWarden and ISXWoW, so please don't take this as any form of criticism or demand, but would it be possible at some point to include a message informing the user that WoW is being closed?

I was using Innerspace with no problems this morning, and then in the afternoon, WoW simply closed with no error. It was only after checking a few forums and IRC channels I realised that it was being done intentionally.
