IS/EQ2 with PIP?

Post by benrangel » Wed Apr 04, 2007 7:57 pm

Hello,

is anyone using PIP with InnerSpace and EQ2? Is it possible?
I searched the forums and the most useful entry I found was this:

http://www.lavishsoft.com/forum/viewtop ... re+picture

But then again im lacking the skills to really know how to get it
to work, where to put the codes and such.

Is there anyone that could help me with this, if it's possible?

Lax, is this function dead and obselete?

VERY old quote from you:
"Inner Space's old picture-in-picture script is outdated and therefore is no longer included by default. It is being replaced with a "new and improved" version that will have a user interface for configuration"

Took quote from this thread:
http://www.lavishsoft.com/forum/viewtop ... re+picture

Just wondering if I should cease my quest for the Holy PiP.

Erhm, I would have thought someone would have responded to this by now. It's been 11 days since my original question/post. I get that you are extremely bizy coding new good stuff for us, posting news and just generally drinking beer enjoying life.

But, please, just take a few seconds to answer if PiP is a function that is supported by InnerSpace, or if im completely misguided and PiP is a totally, external script, wich IS has nothing to do with.

I've been asking this on IRC for a couple days, feeling like a total jerk, no one is answering, and my face is red. I just wish I had some response, good or bad, just some kind of response... :D

I really, really, would like PiP to work.

If it's external, outside IS support, does anyone has it?
PM me if you do and would like to help me.

PIP is not built into IS. All of the capabilities for PIP, however, are. A relatively simple script can do it for you. However, with the volume of requests for things I get every day in addition to my other job, I have to focus on the things that apply to the most customers unless it is something actually preventing someone from using the software. Particularly when any individual could create this functionality using the available tools :)

Don't feel bad about not getting a response, I rarely have time to eat, let alone respond to forum posts. We'll have more help available soon.

Thanks for your response, Lax. You answered all my questions.
Go grab some food, dude :D

That being said, if anyone have a working PiP script or if
someone if willing to custom make me one, i'll gladly pay.
Please PM me if so.
