System Idle and IS

Post by bob_the_builder » Sun Apr 22, 2007 11:22 am

Running two IS w/ EQ2

After moving betweeen the two sessions eventually my System Idle process starts utilizing 50% cpu time... or stops using 50% of cpu timing.

What eventually happens is that the two EQ2 sessions become unplayable since they are relaly only fighting for 50% of the CPU, the other 50% is System Idle.

Seems that if I take one of the screens to ALT-TAB and then back it frees everything but typically crashes atleast one the sessions.

Any one else having this issue or know a better workaround then re starting both sessions.

Again what seems to 'start' this is just moving between the sessions or opening an IE / mplayer...

Ment:

Seems that if I take one of the screens to ALT-ENTER, using SHIFT-ALT-F / T / N doesnt clear it.
