Graphical oddity with new Eve client
Since yesterday's Eve client patch I'm having an odd glitch that only occurs when certain cargo windows are open (and even that, pseudo-randomly). It goes away when I mouse over any icons and comes back as soon as the mouse re-enters a clickable region. Hard to describe, but I'd say it looks some part of the texture cache is showing over top of the rest of the UI as a semi-transparent overlay (it looks like a colection of icons/widgets used in other parts of the Eve interface).
I've tried taking screen shots, but nothing I use to do the capture seems to grab these artifacts.

Same thing here http://img.waffleimages.com/img/2d1d7b7 ... 19/eve.jpg

Having multiple chat panels open (not minimized and in two windows, not "tabbed") at the same while opening a non-hangar container (including your own ship's inventory) seems to be what triggers this for me. Just keeping the 2nd chat window I use to watch local minimized whenever I fiddle with items seems to have cleared it up, though it's a bit of a pain in the ass.
Could I get like a dev response or something? I hate to ask but most threads get them near-instantly and it's been a week

Nothing relevant to this issue changed in IS in several months. I will look into it when I get a chance (probably this weekend)
Sorry for not responding, I had been reading the thread but I have very little time to spare with my two jobs heh. I read the post that it seemed to have fixed itself and kind of assumed the problem went away

ah, i know that screenshot. it has happened for a long time.
I just made it happen on this computer by loading the game, my character docked at a station.
The local and corp chat window is open. I clicked on the ship's cargo window which was open behind some other windows and it came to the frontmost, and then it appeared.
If you can get it to happen, you can make it dissappear by placing the cursor over the top right of the local/corp chat window 'X', where you would click to close (minimize) that window. holding the cursor over it makes it dissappear until you move the cursor off the X.
if you close the chat window, it will stop displaying the 'problem overlay thingie'.
I'll fiddle with it a little more to see if i can find a more consistent way of making it display itself.
But, i remember this happening for months and months. it's not some new change.
