EQ1 Fails to respond from charachter select screen

Trying to access EQ 1, after the new expansion USING WinEQ 2.15 Lite and every time I get to the character select screen and click enter world EQ goes to Not Responding and locks. Any ideas please anyone ?

It sounds like you have patching turned off in your profile.

With the eq patch two days ago, SOE disabled the "Skip the patcher" option which WinEQ uses. As of last evening some time, SOE reenabled this. Please try again today or the next time you can and let us know if this is still a problem.
