umm what's up with this intial startup.. the prog's crashed twice.. is it getting burned up in my kernel / core process and freezing.. but that would mean windows should have crashed.. so what's up.. i got like 1 gig ram 120 gig hd 3.2 gig p4 intel pentium... so what's up with this... same issue only on my 64 bit amg 4 gigger athlon.... with 256 meg vid card.. same size vid card on both pc and my laptop

I split this post into a new topic for you. If it's freezing, then it has nothing to do with the topic you posted on. In fact, there's no reason why it should freeze or crash when launching. Your issue has less to do with the amount of RAM, size of hard drive, or CPU, and more to do with whatever is installed on your computers -- WinEQ takes up about 8MB of RAM, so unless you're completely out of RAM, that's not going to be an issue. WinEQ takes up literally no CPU, and certainly doesnt have any video requirements (the games do).

WinEQ works flawlessly on a clean installation of Windows. Start throwing in other software, malware (viruses/spyware/adware/hijackers/etc) and that's where you run into problems. My suggestion is to run scans for spyware and viruses, and try shutting down any extra programs to see if one might be interfering for whatever reason.
