hotbutton activated when switching sessions in EQ1

Post by traeki1 » Wed Dec 21, 2005 12:35 am

Hello,

I've recently wiped my hard drive and reinstalled everything and when I switch sessions the corresponding hotbutton or spell gem is activated in the game window I am switching to. For example, if I switch to session 1 using the hotkey Ctrl-Alt-1, and hold that keystroke for more than a second, it will either cast the spell in slot 1 (using the Alt-1), or if it is a melee character, it will activate the 1 hotbutton. I might add that if I continue to hold down the keystroke, it will only repeat the stroke in the new game window that first time.

I do not recall this happening before the reinstall. I have 3 boxed many hours and cannot think of this happening before. Any help or suggestions as to how to fix this would be appreciated.
