low texture mem readings
I have recently installed wineq2 after using wineq for a long time i never had texture mem problems on wineq. i am now running 2 gigs 1 gig more than i ever did on wineq and never had this problem what can i do to stop it?
WinEQ 1 didnt pop up warnings, the warnings are a feature of WinEQ 2. The same amount of texture memory is being used with WinEQ 2, it's just notifying you of the problem. If you run out of texture memory, you start seeing missing textures (usually solid white).
If you dont want to see the warnings, you can disable them in your WinEQ 2 preferences for EQ. If you want to do something about them instead, you have two choices. a) Install a video card with more video RAM on it. b) Increase your AGP Aperture Size in BIOS (see http://www.lavishsoft.com/bios.php )
