Current Issues

Post by pangloss » Sun Nov 06, 2005 12:28 pm

This is a brief summary of the current issues I'm having, even after the 2.13 patch (which didn't seem to make a difference).

- Mouse tip not lining up with the cursor (and it gets worse if you I resolutions) (usually works ok until I go into FSE mode)

- Full screen emulation mode not covering the entire screen

- Full screen emulation mode not covering the Task Bar (I'm told it will do this even if the task bar is set to "Keep taskbar on top of other windows", but this isn't working for me in any WinEQ mode)

- A small red dot appears on the lag meter (indicating a tiny bit of lag) when running EQ under WinEQ (some sort of cosmetic issue; doesn't appear to be a big deal, but I thought I'd mention it

I'm running a Pentium D 820 system with a GeForce 7800GTX and the 81.85 driver, if that helps. Windows XP with Service Pack 2, fully patched. My monitor is a 19" LCD panel with native 1280x1024 resolution, which is what I run EQ at.

You're a non-subscriber, you cant use full screen emulation.

Are you using EQPlayNice? EQPlayNice lite puts a red * in the upper left corner to indicate to lite users that it is working

Cool, thanks.

I guess the mouse thing is the only outstanding issue at the moment, then.
