Another Mouse problem

Post by larlagar » Thu Nov 03, 2005 3:22 am

Hi, love the software. Been using it to 2 box EQ while deployed with only 1 Laptop. This recent patch has messed me up as well. When I start up everything seems ok until I get to the EULA Screen.. From there until I get to the char select screen I can see my mouse but cannot click on anything. Once I am at the char select screen mouse works fine. Last night I tried again and saw that if i placed the mouse pointer about 2 inches above where I wanted to click I could sometimes get that to work.

Please help. I play on 2 different servers and I cannot change servers. To even just play I have been using the tab key but unfortunatly that won't let me change servers. I downloaded a newer version from here on the 29th and I think it patched last night when I loaded WinEQ. I cannot be sure but a notepad message came up when it was done loading.

I am using WinEQ 2.0 on Everquest. I am at work so I cannot post any system generated stuff. If you need me to add anything please let me know.

This actually sounds like something I patched to fix on the 2nd. When you are able to try again, make sure to restart WinEQ 2 in case you dont have the latest patch for this

Ok, have some more info. If i hit alt-enter like on normal EQ to go to "full-screen" takes care of this issue.
